Flower power
Not only seabirds on Skomer but also a lot of passerines. I spend quite some time with this Dunnock. I observed his favorite posts and waited. The Red Campion gives it a bit of color. I think it's a very happy image

You're right, it is a happy image.

Lovely depth of colour in the green as well as the pinks.

Nice shot. :toast:

Is it good to be back at work?

Lovely image, great to see the environment as well as the bird and yes, "happy" describes it nicely.

My kind of image Edwin. Don't you just love being out in the countryside.

Personally I would consider cropping just to the left of the L.H. campion, and about halfway from the end of the Dunnock’s tail to the edge of the frame, thus increasing the emphasis on the Dunnock etc..

Still an excellent little capture, whichever way you look at it. Well seen and taken.

Edwin, I like pretty much everything about the image- the DOF is just right, the colours are lovely and the bird's head turn keeps your attention on it.

Hi Edwin,

Nice shot, comp looks very well balanced as is to me. Suprisingly the rather drab Dunnock looks really great against all that colour! Very underrated bird!!

Hi Edwin that is very nice. The bird is placed well within the frame, and the flowers give the image a lift. A pleasant enviro shot.
