Shabuskwia Sunrise
I shot this at 4:51 in the morning before the rest of the camp awoke from their drunken stupor. I did minor adjustments in Lightroom and cropped to Pano.

Nice scene Merle. Where or what is Shabuskwia?

Hey Larry, Shabuskwia is a lake in Ontario, Canada. We drove to Armstrong Station 2 hours above Thunder Bay and then flew on a float plane another 75 miles north to the lake. This was a trip I always wanted to make and finally had the chance to go. It is one of the things I can now cross off of my " Bucket List" and also have shots to show to the world. It was a great trip and now I can go on to other destinations.

Thanks Merle. Great that you had a good time. "Bucket List" is a fun movie. Kind of puts a different perspective on life. Now is we just had the money Jack's character had. :wavey:

Sounds like a great vacation, Merle. I hope all your sunrises were this beautiful, well done.

Merle, it's probably a good thing that you didn't have too many sunrises like this on your trip ... you'd have wanted to go back and soon!

Nice capture, too bad your compadres missed the show!

What a peaceful setting. Looks like a great time to have a rod and reel in your hands...thanks for sharing a few shots of this gorgeous lake.
