Big Sur
I spent two days in the Big Sur area recently. The fog never broke at the coast except for the area around Bixby Bridge, so I shot this icon about twenty minutes before sunset.

Hey Tony, cool shot and great light. I just finished a 2-day trip to Big Sur. The fog was pretty bad. You may find this interesting-- here's a view of your bridge during the fog.

A very prisitine view, Tony. That entire area is a photographers paradise.

Ben, your image has to be the real "Bridge to nowhere". This too is an excellent capture IMO.

Yeah,

The weather has been pretty flat lately. The one I miss about CO summers are the thunderstorms and lightning. Summer is pretty anti-climatic here along the central coast. I miss Winter already. Maybe we will get some kind of system form the south to make things interesting. Although if you look you can always find something to shoot as you two have shown.

It looks like you caught a nice break in the fog/clouds Tony and made the best of it.

Right place at the right time Tony!
It's so painterly like combined with a masterful comp!

Cool shot Ben. The bridge to nowhere!

Wonderful view Tony, though personally I wish that bridge were gone

Love that foggy view Ben, nice work!

Nice shot Anthony and Ben. Floris, what's the issue for you with Bixby Bridge?

Although I like the bridge in these two shots I can relate to Floris wishing it was not in the scene/comp at times. I'll post one in another thread I took this Winter which I would like to clone the bridge out of.
