Incoming Puffin
Canon 50D, Sigma 500mm, f6.3, 1/1600, iso 400.

Finaly managed to get to the Farnes for a few days this week with Craig Jones. Had a good time but a couple of hours on each island just isnt enough.

Great stuff Guy!

I found when I went on the Farnes the first time I had full cards full of OOF puffins coming out of every orifice!

Focus right where it should be, wished for nicer light, but like you say the time you get on the islands sucks, plus its always the worst time of day for light when they drop you off..

Very nice Guy,

Lovely colours in the feet. I hope to be there early next week for my annual fix and if I come back with anything as good as yours I will be more than happy.
