Hi all,

Im sure lots of you have just about had enough of butterfly images already, but one more from me. Taken at dawn this morning, the sun gave a nice warm glow. Advice and critique welcome as always.

Thanks for looking,

Lewis.

I find it rather tight in the frame, although I’ll agree that many will like it as is, but that is web presentation and not the commercial world.

So apart from more space to breath, this is an excellent shot by any standard. Nice one.

Very nice indeed but a tad more DOF will have got those bells in as well and I might just tone down the outer wings of the B'fly as they look a little harsh on my monitor, not much though! Nicely seen and taken and since it's a website and not a commercial posting I am more than happy with size in frame.. I like to see them from different points of view, it makes the world a more varied and diverse place

I agree with Brett.
. The wings in my opinion would be better darkened certainly.
Nice shot

Hi guys,

Thanks for that. I took a variety of shots with varying space etc, just chose this one to put up. I agree more DoF would have been better to bring the bells in, I really should be noticing that sort of thing by now  . I have toned down the wings a little.

Cheers for the feedback,

Lewis.
