One from May
Escalante's Devil's Garden doesn't ever co-operate with me 100%, but I finally managed to grab an okay photo of Metate Arch while working around some late afternoon high clouds...

Okay, maybe we'll call it "Two from May"; here's another view of Metate.

That is a cool place, definitely on my list of places to check out next time I'm in UT. I prefer the tighter crop of the first one.

I too prefer the tighter crop #1 version, really nice light and composition!.

#1, great arch.

Those are both cool shots!

#1 is a 'cleaner' composition, and I like the way the rock goes into the upper left corner.
Nice skies, color and light. I'd say you had some pretty good cooperation on this day!

#1 has my vote, too. I love the composition, particularly the diaganol overhanging rock. Cliff

Very cool shot, been wanting to visit this area soon as I have a chance.
