Mt Evans Wildlife
Here are a few shots from a trip up to Mt Evans this morning. About the only local wildlife I didn't run into was Bighorn Sheep.

Beautiful images Kurt. I love the close-up of the little guy. The catch-light in the eye is terrific. Great work.

Really nice set of wildlife images Kurt, I really like the 2nd Bighorn image. Bill Meikle and I saw our first Ptarmigans today also, unfortuntaley though it was pre-dawn and too dark to shoot, so nice to see one here in your collection!.

Nice pics Kurt, well done, am jealous of your ptarmigan! If you want feedback the background to the marmot is distracting, maybe darken it more?

I am always looking for feedback Bill....thank you!

Very nice! The goat portrait is really cool, and that little yellow flower in the ptarmigan photo adds a lot to an already strong image.

Great Ptarmigan, and I love the portrait shot of the kid.

So, what does one have to do on Mt. Evans to see a Ptarmigan? Any areas, or special times/techniques? I've only ever seen one pair, up on Trail Ridge Road as I was driving past them (with no pull-off in sight...)

These are wonderful. As mentioned, the Marmot shot background is a bit distracting, but that's the only nit I have. Nice stuff, Kurt.
