Vista and color issues

I've been battling with color issues since I built my Vista 64 bit pc a couple of months ago and I finally narrowed it down to the fact that when the machine comes out of sleep mode, it seems to use a different monitor profile even though the display properties shows it's using the correct one. I've Googled this and found lots of folks having the same issue, but I haven't found any solid resolution. Do any of you guys or gals have a solution to this?
Thanks,
Paul

The only solution I can think of is to disable the sleep mode.
I don't use it with Vista 64 and have never encountered this problem.

I am running Vista 64 too, and like John I have Sleep mode disabled, and have not encountered this problem.

I use EyeOne Display2 on my Vista 32bit laptop. Vista will not keep the color profile. However there is an easy fix, but you have to do it each time after Vista is done loading. EyeOne gives you a Logo Calibration Loader icon to put on your desktop. After Vista is done loading, you just double-click the icon and your profile will load instantaneously. Hope this helps!

I do exactly what Don said on my Vista 64 desktop. No problems with color profile management in Windows 7 RC though. I've got other problems, but not profile issues.

Thanks for the tips, guys. No more sleep mode. Don and Matthew, you hit the nail on the head. I use the eye-one and as soon as I fired up the Logo Calibrator it restored the correct profile. Thanks to all.
