It seems my Epson 1290 has not taken well to the extended lay off it's had and is now depositing marks on any print I make. As I don't really print that much I wondered whether there are any online printers that are recommended, also any mat cutting services?

photobox
cheap and good quality

I print up to 44" with a couple of large Epson and Canon printers, but when I want 12x18 or smaller I'll use Photobox, in all honesty they're pretty unbeatable for price/quality and turnaround time.

I rang peak imaging but they don't cut mats so I'm still in need on that front. If anyone can help me out I'd be most grateful.

John,

Check your Yellow pages for a local framer, or an art supplies shop. They'll most likely be happy to cut mounts for you - more so if you can give them a batch of 2 or 3 rather than singles.

Tend to use "framing fantastic" for mounts ordering large batches of one size to get the cost down. DSColour labs for printing - fantastic quality if you follow a colour managed work-flow at great prices.

They have a small minimum order but if you need a few mounts,or more, I've seen COTSWOLD MOUNTS recommended by many people.
