I was just a few miles north of Stephen in Brush Creek Lakes for the fourth. We saw a few people hiking out on the 3rd and a forest ranger with his mule checking the trails on the 4th. The mosquitoes were bad enough that we decided not to stay up for the whole weekend. But the fishing was good and the trail was clear to both lakes.

LX-3, 2 stop hard GND

We also found alot of flowers blooming along the trail. There were spotted corralroot, bog and calypso orchids in bloom along various parts of the trail. In addition there was a progression from lupime and penstemon at the peerless mine TH through some limited arnica and columbine in the forest to some columbine and at the lakes at 11,500.

REALLY like that 3rd image. As Todd would say, it ROCKS. Wonderful blues and comp.

That first one is gorgeous! Love the contrasting colors.
You could probably crop off the dark bottom almost up to the rock and not lose anything.
