As always, there were a number of images posted in the Fauna Gallery that could have taken Pick of the Week honours. As always, I found it tough to single one image out. Here's just a few of the images that, on any given week, could have been Pick of the Week:
Ultimately I chose "Families That Play" by Sally King as the Pick of the Week. Sally put in the legwork to locate a hard-to-find (and harder to photograph) species AND stuck with the subjects long enough to capture some absolutely great images of a young badger family. Not only did Sally document an interesting phase in the development of young badgers, she also did it very artfully! Well done Sally!
