On my last few trips to Rocky Mountain National Park I've been attempting to shoot a few different shots than the traditional wide-angle, mountain-lined landscapes I normally do. Well, some cloudless skies or conditions other than what I pre-visualized presented themselves and led to the opportunity to create these images. Here's a few from mid-June. More coming later this week...

That ice crystals shot is a stunner. I think your idea of seeking out some different images is a great one. When will I dare leave my wide angle zoom at home, I'm wondering?
While everyone seems to be picking their favorite individual shot(s), I'd like to commend you for having the forethought to stretch your visual boundaries in a way that most of us (especially me, Master of the Obvious) spend too little time doing. All are great shots, but the concept is even better.

It's good to be able to step back and re-envision such a landmark area in a new way. Great job!
Good stuff, Josh!
I sure like #'s 1, 3 & 4 of your series.
Nice job of seeing 'small'.
