Always impressed with your hare portfolio Major and this is no exception. Superb detail and really captured that curiosity very well. Only suggestion might be to remove the 'loose' bit of grass in the very middle of the frame and immediately L&R (twig on left and diagonal with seed head on the right)..

A pleasing image and the hare really pops out of the BG..

Another splendid shot for your hare portfolio, Major. Personally, I think that the blade of grass and seedhead on the right balances the picture nicely.

pleasing image, interesting effect given by the cool foreground and warmer background

Jack the Hare was under an overhanging tree giving the effect you mention.
You would not believe how long it took me deciding over the WB issue this created.
All good fun though.

My first impression was that it was a cooler WB than you usually go for, but I think you made a good decision in this case. That sunny Bg could have become too hot and overpowering if you had warmed it up much. usual high standard Major.

Perfectly framed and exposed. Sharp where it needs to be. As for the blade of grass? Give us a break!

Great image I like it as it is. If you start cloning everything out you are not going to be left with much natural setting
