Sunset at Wilson Lake
From the 4th while waiting for the fireworks to start. Otoe Park is across the water to the right, this is from the parking area at the end of the bridge. Three exposure blend. Is the sun to much? I like the light on the grass, but the sun is pretty bright.

I like the sunrays in the photo, but to my eye they are just a bit strong. Of course, I am not a landscape artist so take such comments with a grain of salt. I do like the way the grass picks up the sunlight in the foreground. It is a gives the whole image a more ethereal effect.

The sun isn't a problem for me even though it's bright, in part because it's small, fuzzy, and very round. If it was blobby and bigger or blotchy and irregular, it would have been distracting, but as it is it looks very natural to me. I also like the rays and the back light on the foreground grass.

You had some great light with this. I don't think the sun is too much, but the lens flare on the lower right portion of the sunstar is a little distracting. Although I'm not a PS expert, it looks like you did a good job with the blend; you've avoided the temptation to flatten the image by lightening the shadows too much.

I actually like the sun and backlit grass quite a lot.

I like it Rob. I think the strong sun goes well with the grass highlighted in the foreground. Nice shot!
