Not had much time for photography for quite a while but am starting to venture out a little when it's possible. This is last Saturday - a beautiful quiet misty summer dawn. I was a bit concerned about the composition (which could be better) but think it holds together reasonably. Tristan

looks great to me, the only thing that bothers me is the tree (or trees) in the center, just kind of takes the attention away from the mist creeping over the hills. Other than that, great photo.

Nice to see landscape photographs on here, lovely light and composition, the image would be better without the middle tree IMO, lovely photo   :wavey:

Its the blackness of the tree on the RHS and base that unforuntately dominates the image for me, whereas I feel the tree in the middle is the subject the rest it's environment.

Good to see you posting again.

A lovely view for me Tristan, and nice to see some decent landscape again. :toast:

Oh, and lose the frame please... it detracts from good photos!

Nice Composition Tristan (although not a common one), Really like the shot though overall. Lovely colours and good sharpness throughout back to front. :toast:
