These two had my special interest. They were courting and hugging for quite some time. I crawled to the edge of the cliff and had a fantastic time following these two love birds.

I don't think this image is balanced well. I agree that a close crop gives an intimate feel. The lines across the white and black feathers of both birds also form some really nice lines. I think it's the way the light is hitting the birds heads that makes it look odd to me.
Nice image, I would have either zoomed out or crawled back so the bird to the left was more in the frame, making an almost 'L' shape with the two birds, beautifully exposed photograph, with lovely soft colours+Tones Edwin
This is an excellent image and the detail in both birds is really nice.
For me the main problem is the title as I dont get the feeling of a courting pair of Razorbills even though this is what they are doing.
I think I might have called it. Submissive Razorbill. As the one at the bottom is quite clearly being submissive and the look in the other ones eyes to me is one of attitude, and not love.
As you were there you know they were courting, but from a picture point of view I dont get that feeling, and feel a different title would make this a more sucessful image.
Well seen and taken.

they do look a bit bored, the light is a wee bit flat as well, nice isolation though and that yellow is so elusive with all the black and white trying to get that colour in is really challenging.

Nothing you could really do about that though.
