I shot this yesterday over at St. Vrain State Park and if anyone can help me ID it I would really appreciate it. I have kind of narrowed it down to a Cassin's Kingbird or a Western Kingbird, however examples I find do NOT show it with a red head, and it has me wondering.

It looks like a Western kingbird, but the red spot as you say throws the ID off, perhaps he got his head into something he shouldn't have

Great shot showing the rarely seen red crown of the kingbird. I believe this is a Western Kingbird based on the lighter face but both the Western and Cassin's kingbird has the red crown it is just seldom seen.
