Went to Ludington State Park (MI) this past week and hiked the Hamlin Lake trail. We found numerous Wild Irises growing between the trail and the water's edge. This is one of many images I was able to capture of these wildflowers.

Nice shot. I like the colors and the flower is in pristine condition. I Didn’t have much luck with Blue Flags this year because of the dry weather.

I think these had just come out, Philip..there were very few dead flowers hanging on. Seems all the flowers are blooming later here this year. It's been a cool summer, but I'm not complaining!

The lines are very nice, I wish there was more DOF so the back petal on the flower was sharp, however the grass would also be more distracting then. Nice comp and fantastic lines!
