Godwit enviro
May and June are best for shooting the Godwit's. When the sun is rising like this it's just magic. I just wish the sun was on the right hand site.

iso 200 1/500 sec. F5.6 full frame Nikon D3-Nikon 200-400/4 -
hand held

Hi Edwin

Yes agree with you but still a really nice shot maybe darken a tad or just increase contrast a little!

Getting the sun to rise in the South East would be an achievement Edwin but I know what you mean, still a very nice image.

You'll just have to move the hide or the post Ed.

Don't you ever sleep? I guess you wont when the new baby arrives. :wavey:

I really like this and I personally like the soft dark tones as they are. For me it adds to the almost dreamy feeling of the image. Fabulous image Edwin.

Can't you just PS the sun to the righthand side? Is this a criminal offense?
Lovely shot wish it were mine.

A lot of mystery and bags of atmosphere. Find myself looking deeper into the image to see what is beyond the mist. Very nice indeed Edwin.

Edwin,

This is stunning as is. The tones and atmosphere are perfect and it evokes a positive response. I took the liberty of moving the sun to the right and personally I prefer it on the left where it really was.

A stunning image. Full of colour and interest.
I don't have a problem with the position of the sun at all as I find the vegetation on the opposite side balances the composition very well.
