Do you know what John, 339 / 0 is very poor !!! every image has it's merits and every image posted here deserves at least one comment, I like the texture of the radiating ripples and the striking yellow wing bar.

Classic UKNP :frown:

As one who has achieved 142/1 so far on my penultimate post I'm beginning to think 'it's not what you know but who you know' .  If it's so bad, I wish people would tell me rather than ignore it altogether. In your case John yours are so good it sometimes has the same effect. IMHO

A really good image, perhaps only improved by the removal of the bit of branch to the left.

Another nice image with the 'movement' ripples,as I call them, giving the image a sense of movement/action, good detail To

Very nice work John, and as has been said the water ripples give it that little extra.
Would have been nice to have a slight head turn, but they don't always co-operate!

Nice one,

Fran :toast:

I would have liked to see a slightly lower angle, but that's just me  one thing though, I really must get round to making my self a pool in the garden, for those day's I carn't get out.

maybe improved by action in the water whilst bathing? or looking at the camera great to see birds near water always adds a new dimention than on a stick!

Thanks all
Ben
I take your point but it's not easy at 80th of a second as once they start they really move.
Cheers

John,

It's not a competition to see how many views or comments you do or don't get on a post. I'll also point out that you yourself add to the views, as do others looking back to see what was said. The view counter doesn't denote x unique viewers.

I know its not a competition about views Nick, but you have admit see there,s something odd about this one! I think I re visited myself about 10 times at the most so that still leaves 490!
Sent you a PM.

A good, sharp image John despite the very low shutter speed.
I like the way the waters' ripples are radiating out from the bird.
