Peek-a-boo
I was having fun playing pee-a-boo with this burrowing owl chick just south of Barr Lake.

Nice ones! What focal length were you able to use to get these?

Todd, I was using a 300mm f/4 w/1.4 tc. Both images are about 85% of original. I made several attempts at getting close to this one and finally he let me creep up on him. He seemed as curious about me as I was in him. Took me 4 attempts over a couple of hours. I even left once for 30 minutes and returned right before he let me get this close.

Nice shots Kurt! Better luck then me. I went there this morning and no luck! Were these in the morning or evening? May have to try after work.
