Most of the Snowy's chicks I have been shooting are in flight and learning to feed themselves, but a few are still begging mom for a meal. The scene out there is like a few teenager's outstaying their welcome. Here are a few from the recent shoot this weekend.

Not sure if B&W works...plus, I have enough issues with color processing....is my tonal range good in this?
The first two images are really nice Kurt, as Dan said nice interaction between the birds. I do like your B&W too, I think it lends itself well to that image & the Egrets.
Another remarkable series, Kurt!
The image you chose to convert to b&w works extremely well for me.
There's plenty of tonal range, and the composition is top notch.
I keep coming back to view that one.
Two things you may want to try:
Cloning out the 7 or 8 out of focus 'dots' on the left and one on the right in the water.
They almost look like dust spots and are slightly distracting.
And perhaps darkening the water just a bit more?
Regardless, this is excellent work, and you have a good eye for choosing an apt subject for b&w. Not an easy task with wildlife images!
My favorite is #1 because of the action you captured. I also like the B&W and I agree with John about the image's tonality and composition. It looks like it could use just a pinch more contrast, but not much!
