Most of the image consists of silhouetted shapes, which together with the softness of the fog gives it an insular and peaceful feel, an effect enhanced by the choice of black and white. The one minor jarring note I see is the horizontal line of the dam across the strong vertical lines formed by the reflections on the pond and the stream beyond, which might be minimized by toning down some of the highlights along it. Beautiful work.

Lovely image. I especially like the ducks in the foreground. It is obvious they are keeping pace with the water flow toward the little falls. Provides some dynamics to an otherwise quiescent image. Nice.

A moody and evocative image Rod, I really like this. Great use of the silhouettes to frame the inlet as it disappears into nothingness. Your trip to Maine looks to have been very successful. Thanks for sharing this beauty.

Really beautiful scene you had here Rod. I think Randy had a good point about the strong horizontal line of the dam...you might also try cropping from the top or bottom to take the line off-center.

I love foggy images Rod. This one really has some neat elements in it. I bet it was a fun trip.
