Terrific light on him Dan! Looks like this was right around sunset. He stands out very well against what looks like a bit of cloud cover behind him.

Dan, what an incredible image. Just beautiful. You must have quit the caffeine at noon because that look tack sharp to me. The light is wonderfully warm. I also like the classic 'L' shape of the comp. Very, very nice image. Great work!

Thanks for the comments! I was hoping to capture one before the sun went behind a big bank of clouds.

Perfect light! Great sharpness for a handheld 500mm.

I would personally prefer a bottom crop to remove the barb wire. Otherwise, this is great in every way. Thanks for sharing.

Great shot Dan. The Barbwire in my opinion gives it some uniqueness. Also the background pastel color is great.

Hi Dan,
As always, really enjoy your shots (you and Bill Meikle have some superb wildlife shots). Keep 'em coming!

You even got a catchlight in it's eye!
Excellent job, especially for a handheld shot.

Great shot! I love the light, and the expression (if you can call it that) on the face.

Excellent shot, and he does not look happy that you are taking his photograph. The light is really sweet! The background shows a little noise on my monitor.

Nice, menacing male!

Killer shot, Dan, pretty much what i expect from you. A little noise reduction and this will be sweet.
