Ok - so it's another. But I couldn't miss out on the puffin-fest , and I haven't had much chance to shoot or process much wildlife stuff this year :frown:.

Nice Puffin Nick, but to be honest seems a little too far to the right. Only a tad mind you. And a little bit bright but maybe my setup.
Cheers

Hi Nick,
Lovely shot, although I echo John's thoughts: a touch too far to the right, and looks a little bright / overexposed on my screen, also.

A very nice portrait Nick and the lichen covered rocks make a great backdrop. Brightness and highlight detail looks fine at this end.
I'd be inclined to crop a little off the side, just enough to lose the white area in the background.

Hi Nick

Personally, I like the bird's position in the comp. I would darken the shot, as suggested, but not so much as to lose its 'fresh' feel.

Cheers,
Chris

I also like the composition but that white area to the left does slightly draw my attention. Nice pose and great background though.

The detail in the bird is superb and I like the composition. I would however also lose a little of the white bit.

I like the comp, really suggests the edge of a cliff with nothing but space in front.
