Female Ruby Throated Hummingbird
I stopped at some flowering shrubs (ID?) in a park in Arlington, TX, on Tuesday and found this female Ruby Throat visiting the flowers. I was not fast enough to capture her eating, but she eventually had to stop and rest . . .

I was concerned about the busy background so I burned some of the brightest flowers behind the bird to make them a little less prominent.

A wonderful image, Daniel. The exposure looks perfect, and a wise decision to blur the bg flowers. Nice work!

Very nice Daniel. Sitting would be the only way I could capture one of these ... I mean the bird sittting!

Nice Daniel, I never see these guys setting still like this. I agree I like the background.
