Whilst photographing European cranes in Sweden, I was inclined to try and overcome the somewhat monochromatic conditions but failed dismally so I went the other way and secured a few high-key images which I was pleased with. By over exposing around 2/3 stop, the grey mist becomes white and the 'black' cranes become grey.
Thinking outside the box again Peter but on this occasion not quite my cup of tea. I think for me it lacks something to emphasise the mist more ie perhaps the tops of some trees or similar.

Very different and very nice,I like the symmetry of the three cranes, really like the atmosphere captured here, reminds me of Vincent Munier's work a little.
As always, I've looked at this a few times now. It's not grabbing me the way your stuff usually does. I think it would have been better if the birds were totally level with an equal space between them.
I like this! The repetition of shapes is the focus and maybe making it a panorama would emphasize the shapes more and the delicacy of the hanging legs. I like the high key, black & white aspect.

On it's own, it doesn't do anything for me. As part of a story I think it'd do fine.
