The Exhibitionist.
1D2n, 600mm f4 is, 1/320s, f6.3, iso 400. Fill flash -2.33. Setting sun and light rain. Full frame with a sliver of added canvas to correct rotation.

There's alway one who wants to show off, isn't there?

A quite beautiful portrait Ian, the low angle making the transition between foreground and background almost imperceptible works fabulously well here.

Have to agree with the above.. Great fun image, well seen and captured. The water in the FG almost looks solid.. Optical illusion..

Many thanks for all the nice comments! I got lucky here. I was actually working on a different shot completely, when this little fellow strayed into the field of vision. He held this pose for less than half a second according to the exif data. It's the first time I can recall knowing I had a good shot as soon I hit the button. At the moment, it's my all-time favourite!

Beautiful capture Ian. The still water and background just make the whole image perfect.
