This is from last weekend. I hiked out to Gap Point on St. George Island and took this image at sunset. Didn't get much sleep in my tent during the hot summer night and the mosquitoes were out in force, but it was a great trip. The color version is on my website in the "Northwest Florida" section if you are interested in seeing it. Thanks for any comments/critiques.

Wow, wow, and wow! I really like the balance of this one with the tree and roots in the bottom and left, and the clouds in the upper right.

I have to agree with Joe. This really works for me. I think the black and white version is powerful. Off to check the color version. Thanks for sharing the story behind the photo.
