(c) Goshawk & Prey: "Don't you dare touch my meal!"
Hello all,

after a little absence due to several events (new website, trip to Finland and the passing of our dog) I now finally have some more time to post some of the images I made in the last few months.

This one is once again from the Raptor workshop at Peter his place, (I just can't think him enough for that weekend, I have so many images i am thrilled about!) this time it's the Goshawk and his prey. While I was completely unable to photograph this guy in flight (overcast weather plus extremely fast bird equals lots of blurry crap ) I was very satisfied with the images of him feeding on part of a pheasant. I love the eys of this bird, and in this one he seems to give me a look that says I'd better not think about touching his meal

Thank you all for looking!

Good eye contact and agree that more of the pheasant would help the overall concept. it also looks a bit too saturated to me. :wavey:

The nits have been covered. Still a very imposing image though.

The intense stare is great.
