Good to see you're getting on with the 150.
This is nice. Needs cropping so that the butterfly head is just to the right of centre I reckon.
Unless its full frame, then it would be a bit complicated. If it is a crop you may get a vertical.
Hope all's well overthere
Cheers

Thank you John, I wasn't sure where to crop! (It was very windy and many taken were unuseable) There isn't much space on the left, perhaps vertical would be better.
An attractive species to have in your collection. Perhaps composing the scene with the empty space in front of the butterfly instead of behind would have strengthened the composition.
Still an attractive shot of a beautiful creature though.
I like the composition as is Kim as the space-to-fly-into is more where it would be for a butterfly. Lovely species - we don't get them up here as far as I know and have never seen one. Only nit is as per Stephen but I know how hard this stuff is as I'm also pretty new to trying the macro stuff with the same lens. Good luck!

Thats one very nice butterfly you have captured, and I like the light onr this one as well.
I would go with Justin on more space infront instead of behind.
Kim this is really nice.
