Yet another Puffin

Hi all,

Here is another from this years visit to the Farnes. I always seem to find myself processing the Puffins first from the Farnes trip, despite having images of Arctic and Sandwich, dare I say it, waiting their "Tern"..... uh sorry.

I would have preferred a slight head turn towards the camera, but as many will know this species tends to travel in straight lines, especially when out at sea.

Canon 1DMK3, 300mm, f6.3,1/2000, +1EC, ISO 400

C&C welcome.

Cheers

Austin

Good flight shot Austin and a good job on capturing this little missile, like it.

Hi Austin, great flightshot of this puffin.
May be you can make your next shot just a little bit of a second earlier so you have more or less a view from the "front". This is not a nit.

Its a lovely shot but I find myself wanting a bit more space on the right. I wonder how it would work as a pano with a big piece of blue space?

Not easy as they fly like bullets! Great shot.
