Snowy Range too
Following up on Don's post, I was in the Snowy Range Tuesday night and Wednesday morning - a nice detour en-route to a meeting in Laramie. The wind was raging when I got up there, so the flowers were not an option for me. Lupine and sub-alpine arnica are looking good just below timberline, alpine sunflower are good just above timberline and there are some nice lupine and columbine blooms along the Brooklyn lake Rd. Around the lakes, it's mostly glacier lillies.

"Lookout Lake Ice"

As Don said, there's a lot of snow and ice still hanging around!

Sunrise on Old Main and The Diamond from Lookout Lake

I went up Medicine Bow Peak for sunset on Tuesday with Jody Grigg's voice in my head: "Get out there people!"

As you can see, the light was sub-optimal, but it was cool to be up there solo. This view is south across Old Main and The Diamond.

The first shot is wonderful Dave. Seems like you got a very expansive view from the peak.

NIce set of images Dave. The wind was a factor also when I was there. I noticed the paint brush was just coming up in some of the meadow areas. I have family coming in next week or I would be tempted to give it another try.

The first one is clearly my favorite!
Great diagonal patterns and a beautiful reflection.

Well done, Dave. :toast:
