Little Owl portrait
MK2DN, 600 f4 USM, x2 TC, ISO 800, 1/160 @ f11, fill flash -2 1/3, full frame, Noise Ninja, CS2
I'm still spending all the time I can at the Little Owl site hoping for good light and the chance of a flight shot. This was shot in the last minutes of sunlight and lit the bird and the background nicely.

Nice one John
The comp seems a llittle off balance to me.
Some off bottom and right maybe. But then whenI look again it seems OK
Good one though

Lovely portrait John, liked both of the photo's of this charming owl, but this is my favorite because of the composition and the pose caught, very nice   :wavey:

John, love the light and pose but a few minor nits for me - the OOF foreground, slightly too far left in the frame, and it's also a little tight for me. I'm beginning to think that your hide location isn't ideal. BG is good.

Just wish I could get as close to these little chaps as you have. You have captured some very fine detail there John.

Very nice and detailed shot, but I'm not quite sure about the composition. I think a little off the bottom would benetfit the image more. But that's just personal of course.
