Hello friends,
this is Kurti! He and his female have their district around our living space. We know them for years now. They are a part of our life.
He (or she) was watching me very careful when I built up my lens on the
tripod. We know that they persieve us. My wife and me.

I like the open beak and there's plenty of good detail visible in the dark plumage. An unusual and interesting perch too. The dark sky makes a good setting also.
I like the shot as it is. The surroundings aren't a problem - it's where they've chosen to live, and it shows the bird's 'closeness' to man - how they've lived around our habitation for thousands of years.

Have to agree with Nick on this one, the image works very well as posted, the crow is set off very nicely against that dark imposing sky, nice one Bertl.

thanks for looking, C and C are always welcome
Wonderful to have such friends in the area though.

I might have been tempted to remove the white OFF clouds ? at the top of the shot though. Others may as usual disagree

Nits re the perch covered, but you cannot always get them to perch where you want them!
Nice one,
Fran
