Backlight Roe Deer + REPOST
Have been hosting 2 Roe Deer workshops this weekend and we had a great time on both of them. In all we managed to shoot around 40GB of Roe Deer images but my favorite of the sessions was this backlit Roe Deer wich i shot last saturday evening in the last light of day. It's a shot i have had in mind for a long time..

For more images from the workshop sessions check my weblog: http://jeroenstel.blogspot.com/

Greetings,

A wonderful subject and one that works especially well backlit, as your image demonstrates. Like it a lot.

Great shot Jeroen. Also the backlight works wel in this one and there are still enough details in the deer visible.

Lovely shot Jeroen.
My only (slight) nit is that the foreground in front of the deer is a little distracting - maybe an aperture of f/4 would have reduced detail in this area and isolated the deer a little more.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your comments. I agree with Chris' comment on the foreground so i have worked a little on that and think it does look better this way..

Stunning shot and your reworked version improves it further.

Very nice.... there are a few glitches in your reworked forground however, nothing that can't be put right...
