Drowning Shadows
A bit different from my usual, I think. A submerged log in Shadow Lake enjoying mid morning light. Does it work?

I'm just stopping by this forum, but I'll comment on this. I think it works if your goal is to seriously creep me out. Otherwise, you would probably have to pitch it to the right crowd.

Thanks Kent - that was pretty much the idea  glad it has the desired effect.. who would hang this in their living room, I do not know, but hey, I thought it'd be fun to branch out into the darkness!

I think most photos have their own crowd to please. I like the cool blue duotone here or maybe it's my imagination. I also like how the one branch helps you exit the scene after looking at for a while. Nice shot.

I like this a lot! Very cool and unique! A bit dark and eerie, but it is supposed to be. Very well done, Floris!!

Very unique, Floris. It sure holds a very somber mood to this scene IMO.

Unusually interesting. It certainly will make the viewer ask questions and wonder, and that is as success in itself.

A haunting image, yet still quite beautiful. The pockets of light and shadow work very well here to lend a sense of mystery. Nice to see something a bit different and well executed.
