Here's another from my recent Roe Deer adventures. With this shot we were sitting down in the field and these two ladies where only about 15 meters in front of us.

I love the setting, the viewpoint and the composition. I'm a little undecided about the doe in the background, on one hand I quite like the idea and think it could work well with a bit more seperation between the two animals, but on the other hand I find the background deer just that bit too dominant in the frame and distracts the attention slightly from the main subject.
Perhaps with the background doe more distant and smaller in the frame would work better.
Still a nice portrait of a beautiful animal.

Cracking shot Jeroen
Puzzled as to why you used f8 though matey - I'd have been at 4.5/5.6 for this one; that would have helped give a bit more focus separation from it's pal in the background, though for me I don't mind the physical overlap.
That blob of sky might be a little less intrusive too.
But it's still a belter of a shot and don't they look at their very best in standing crops

Hi Jeroen
Very nice and I like the setting - ditto Justin's remarks re the OOF animal being a little too close and no seperation. That said I still really like the image!
