Just wanted to post this here on the PNWNP forum since that is where I am originally from and where this was taken. This was shot near Rocky Creek state park south of Depot bay. I just hunkered down in the channel with waves crashing up and all over me (had a very good umbrella). I waited until sunset and then shot every time the sneaker waves pounded the area. I do wish I had water on the bottom right rock rolling off to just about perfect the scene, but that did not happen on the shot. I have thought about pulling the rock out to the right (warp) just a tad to make it less distracting. I did try an entire clone, but I did not feel right about it (I like to stick to minor healing brush stuff not huge clones) and it did not look very good anyway.
Cheers.

Very cool Mark. I also really liked your 30" shot of Punchbowl.
If you mean 30 inches, actually I am printing it as a limited edition, Fuji Flex Silver Halide Lightjet print at 50 inches, then will have it mounted to Dibond and face mounted to museum quality UV protected acrylic.
Really a super shot! Perfect techs for the water action; just love how it looks. I think the rock in the bottom right looks just fine, acting as an anchor for the scene and some safety for the viewer who might otherwise be swept away.

30"? Not sure what you are referring to here?

I don't know what else to say except for "excellent!". The shutter speed is perfect for the water motion.
