I have all the details for the repair place etc, but was wondering if the repair (rear mount section loose) can be done without sending away?

Well it depends. If it are tiny screws you could try and fix it with these small screwdrivers. I would personally just send it off and have it fixed by the SIgma repair place.

Paul
I should have explained better- I am only talking the tinyest amount possibe. Pin head size - so you can still undo the screws if you or somebody else had to.
I am not saying do it- its just that itvworked on mine and I hate to think what a repair job would cost.
Mine was the 150 sigma by theway
