Contemplating Oystercatcher
Carrying on the theme from Chris I thought I'd add one of my image taken on one of those experiences.
This image brings back memories from a very good day of wader photography with a very good photographer friend of mine. We had found an oystercatcher roost and sat photographing them flying in and bathing. As high tide turned an hour before sunset we had the opportunity to photograph the birds leaving the roost against a superb sunset which turned the colours from golds to this unusual purple colour. This was probably one of my favourites of the day and I think it portrays how I was feeling.... relaxed and looking out to sea to see what it was bringing for me the next day!
It's these sort of days that make it all worth while.

Nice work Ian, great colours and just about enough detail in the silhouette to ID the bird.. the staggered water lines make for some interest in the overall shot. Well seen and taken
