Great shot Jack, a very handsome animal, with the small splash of colour in the background just adding a little something for me !

That is a lovely image Jack. I'm very envious of these Roe pictures as I think they are the most handsome of our deer species. Unfortunately we don't have them down here.

A very nice image of this handsome Buck, might just lose a tad from the left hand side, probably to the edge of the Holly(?) Saplings.

Nice work Jack and I think the time of day has helped bring out that wonderful saturated colour in the image. Agree with Phil re. the crop but otherwise a fine image of a great looking Roe deer..

Cracker. This location is seriously paying dividends for you. Just wish I had some near me.

Chris.

Lovely Jack, great colours and comp although I agree that the previous suggestions would make it stronger still.

Hi Jack,
Pleased to see you've finally caught up with the deer, like you was hoping too.
How are things going with them (pretty good judging by this one), have you had many oppurtunities so far?
The rut should be under way anytime now, or in the next couple of weeks, if it hasn't started already.

A fine portrait of a buck in excellent condition and in an attractive setting too. He's got a great set of antlers too.

Hi Justin if you are still there, i'm getting on fairly well with them now i've had some great encounters but they don't always translate into shots, already seen some rutting behaviour too, hope too spend a lot of time with them over the next few weeks, so fingers crossed will have some more to post soon

Gorgeous shot, that little bit of oof heather (or whatever it is) in the background helps lift it.
