Little Owl taken last Friday after one heavy downpour, and just before a second torrential storm. This little one was foraging for food and making the most of the dry spell before it took shelter again. Needless to say I was doing the same (but not foraging lol)

Cropped and run through neat image as there was a lot of noise in the sky, but I hope it has reduced it somewhat.

Nice one Fran, love the complementary colours of the roof, bird and sky.

I like the way the picture is divided by the different elements of roof and light and dark sky, with the owl as the focul point. Excellent.
A good shot Fran.
The bird and lichen covered roof looks particularly striking against that stormy sky.

Works very well, Fran. As Justin says looks great against that stormy sky. Would have been nice to have it all dark grey but then we can't have everything!

Oops, just spotted a missed dust bunny, or was that the start of the rain?
Fran
I'd have been gone. I have a storm (lightning) phobia.
Bells cures it though and three Diazapam

That would be the thunder.
Seriously, Fran, a lovely shot, which I envy. If it was taken where I think, there was no sign of him when I went.
