Night heron
Night heron coming in to land. Yes i would have liked a more natural perch but this is what they use and i like the kind of eagle spread.

Great shot. I would have preferred to see the bird a little higher in the frame, but you have to be very quick with this type of shot.

A very good behavioral capture.
I am sure you would have preferred a bit more room behind to tone down the background.

Hi Rene,

Top shot, great pose to catch the bird in. I would echo David's comment about position in the frame.

Cheers,

Lewis.

Yes great pose. I would crop some off the top to balance it out. Well seen and captured.

Very nice indeed !
A tight crop may just do it. If not a lot of tree trunk re constructing !!! Could be done.
Lovely image

Lovely image although framing as mentioned could have been better

Great capture Rene - minor nit just wish the bird had been a little higher and to the right in the frame. However you got the shot and if you had stopped to compose it I'm sure you wouldn't have captured the moment!

Hi Rene, a very nice wing-spread - just wishing for it a bit higher in the frame! :wavey:
