Bug eat Bug
I took this a couple days ago, late afternoon. This unknown insect landed on the fence after a sparrow that I had been photographing left. While not an insect photographer normally, I couldn't pass up the opportunity. It wasn't until I was reviewing the images that I saw that there was a victim in the image :). I posted a slightly different version in the Fauna forum. C&C and ID of the insect always welcome. 50D, ISO 800, 1/2500, 456mm, ~50% crop.

A very nice capture Rob, what with the dragonfly finishing off it's latest meal while a tiny bug zips past in the bg. Very nice pof and a great bg too.

That's quite a large macro lens...or large telephoto posing as a macro. Very sharp and interesting.
