Juv Black-Tailed Godwit-Feedingx2
Photograph of a juvenile BT Godwit feeding on the dee estuary yesturday after a thunderstorm, the water was like glass after the storm,I've learned also through my own experience that the light is beautiful after a storm/rain. As a high tide had been predicted we where hoping the barn owls and other raptors would be out hunting for the easy pickings as the tide pushers all the rodents up to the shore, well the owls did'nt show and it was'nt until we had packed away (9.00PM) that a pair showned up we all had to laugh about it as thats wildlife for you. Had a good day photographing other birds, in this diverse habitat. Thanks to Guy Rogers+Chris Johnstone(UKNP) for their good company-"They are there I promise" :eek.Next time

Hi Craig,

I wondered how that one would turn out. Nice catch light and a good shot but I think we were robbed of better with the conditions. I might be tempted to up the contrast slightly.

As you say - next time!

Cheers,

Chris
