Suggested Gatherings until Jan 2010.

19th Sep 2009 - Snettisham Roost - Knot/Dunlin, Norfolk
13th Oct 2009 - Richmond/Bradgate Deer rut (I probably will not be there - Phil_H are you at Richmond?)
25th Oct 2009 – Peak District – Mill Stone Grit, Man and Landscape
13th Dec 2009 – Donna Nook – Zebras - Early start (long walk).
17th Jan 2010 – Caerlaverock WWT - Barnacle Geese/Whooper Swans

Paul Gibbs, I need a date from you re potential NW meetup?

Comments welcome but as these subjects are wild there is no guarantee of them being there

Hi Tom, It was going to be the last weekend, i had put this in the post.

I'm not 100% if i can squeeze in another date soon with the wife about to drop a baby early September...

I'll provisionally say 15th or 16th August, i'll check with the boss which is better.

If you are about to be a Dad as soon as Sept, I would give this a miss - you don't wnat to be half way up a hill when it all starts...

Well no, that would be an issue. But i'm unsure when i could fit ANYTHING in the months afterwards! Maybe next year...

For someone relatively new to the Forum, I assume a gathering involves anyone turning up and all shooting together

Laim, a 'Gathering' is a get-together but helped by one or two people who know a wee bit about the location and help point out things to those from further afield...

They are a way of meeting fellow inmates.
