Pink foot in rain
Hi all

Went down to the local lake and found two Pink-footed Geese in with the Canada Goose flock. First time I have photographed anything in the rain and I feel it really adds an atmosphere to the picture.

Comments and crits welcome.

Cheers
Ian

Hi Ian,

I like this. It has been well executed, giving the rain a sense of movement, a nice pose on the Goose and lovely colour within the frame from the Thistles.

Well seen and taken

Regards

Rob

love the rain and foreground here, and the pose is great too, i thought pink-footed geese were winter visitors?

Hi all

Thanks for your kind comments. With regards to Jack's post, pink foots are winter visitors. These two were unringed and unclipped so i think i will have to put them down as 'unknown origin'!!

Cheers

The rain is great and really makes the image. I do find the goose-head a bit too centered though.

Very nice indeed Ian, the subdued light and rain enhances this image no end.

Hi Ian,

Really like this, nice expression from the goose and like the colour added by the thistles! The rain tops it off!

Cheers,

Lewis.
