Black guillemot beating wings
Last year i posted a series of puffins beating their wings from Shetlands, unfortunately due to my limited mobility this year wasn't able to do any puffins so i thought i'd ttry the same idea with black guillemots without half as much success so just the one image to post
40D + 300mm F4L + 1.4 extender
Full Frame + removal of nast reflection in eye

Nice photo Jack, a bit more of a catchlight in the eye would have been nice, lovely pose caught there, nice image  :wavey:

Shame it wasn't facing the other way to throw a little more light on it's front. But never the less a well timed image Jack.

Great image Jack, I love the light but catchlight on the eye could be brightened a bit.

Nice shot Jack. Like the lighting through the birds right wing.

It's a cracking shot Jack and it's a species I would love to photograph, so very envious.
