From the bathroom toilet in North Norfolk , since this is the only place I can get a wireless signal..! This is truly superb Phil. I watched as this was being taken and amused at the fluid secretion, looks like it's blowing bubble gum..! I'm sure it's probably some enzymatic digestive juices but Like the way it matches the Sheeps Sorrel in coloration.. Super detail and DOF all spot on..

Nice work..

I don't photograph these (insects), but I do like to look at them. Such detail. Amazing. :toast:

Glad to see I am not the only one to puff

A superb image Phil, and an amazing colour in the bubble.

Have a good time all of you.

Suberb detail and I love the colour of the bubble. The two species of blow fly I saw last month doing this were blowing brown bubbles. See attached. These flies have a beauty which is revealed in your image perfectly IMHO.

I've never seen such a brilliant red 'bubble' or such a good shot of this in action. A shot I've wanted for a long time. To me it looks just a little cramped in the frame but I love the detail that you can see at this size.
